Terms of use

Using Indiedex
Indiedex provides discovery, public pages, sourced charts and community submissions. You must be at least 18 to create an account and able to enter an agreement under the law that applies to you. Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information. Browsing public records does not require an account.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and the listing guidelines. The privacy notice explains processing of personal information. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit content.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Indiedex permission to store, display, format and distribute it as needed to provide the visibility settings and service features you choose. You must have permission to use your uploaded artwork, logos, videos and personal information. Linking a public profile does not establish ownership, consent or endorsement.
You can unpublish your page, remove your links or request deletion. This does not remove copies already made by others or records that must be retained for legal, security or dispute reasons. Imported public-source records are distinct from your account.
Acceptable use and moderation
Do not impersonate others, upload unlawful or infringing material, expose private information, distribute malware, manipulate votes or traffic, misrepresent financial evidence, abuse other users, bypass access limits or harvest personal data. Do not upload sexual exploitation material or sexual content involving minors.
We may review, restrict or remove content and suspend accounts for abuse, rights complaints, security issues or violation of these terms. You may appeal or provide evidence through support. Community votes, source records and sponsored placements follow their displayed rules; placement is not guaranteed.
What charts and evidence mean
Numbers retain their source, date and metric. Revenue is not profit; funding is not revenue or valuation; current players are not all-time peak; source popularity is not a universal ranking. Public disclosures and founder statements can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Research questions and suggested content angles are not financial, legal or investment advice or promises of demand, growth or earnings.
Use the original source and perform your own checks before making decisions. We do not independently verify every statement, endorse every listed product or guarantee that a source remains available.
External services, games and media
External stores, games, videos, advertisements and platforms operate under their own terms, age ratings and privacy policies. Indiedex does not host the linked commercial games, movies or shows. External links are not licenses to copy or redistribute them. Optional social/video previews connect to the named provider when you choose to load them. YouTube-powered features are also subject to YouTube’s terms.
Paid features and sponsorship
Only purchase a service under clearly stated price, duration, deliverables and cancellation/refund terms. Current sponsorship orders require review and manual payment confirmation; an expression of interest or pending request is not a completed purchase. Organic ranking is separate from labeled sponsorship. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Availability and responsibility
The service and third-party observations are provided as available. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, complete coverage, accuracy of third-party information or a particular outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on third-party claims or external services. Nothing here excludes liability, remedies or consumer rights that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes, closing your account and disputes
Material changes will be dated and communicated where required. You can stop using the service and delete your account from settings. For a dispute, contact support with the affected URL and evidence so we can investigate. Applicable mandatory local laws and access to competent courts remain unaffected; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive statutory rights.
