Form D is the notice US companies (and foreign companies raising from US investors) file after selling securities privately. “Reported raised” is the total amount sold in that offering as of the filing; it isn’t a valuation and can span several closes. We keep operating companies in tech, health, consumer and business industries and drop investment funds and SPVs. Source: SEC Form D data sets (public domain). Announced rounds come from company announcements and press reports and link to them. Indian and many other companies don’t file Form D, so their coverage comes from announced rounds only.
